Most of my early work has been color landscape. As of late, I have become fascinated by the difference in looking at my images when I convert them to black and white, seeing new relationships between elements, often stronger than those seen with color. This fascination with the black and white versions of the images has led me to also look for abstract, often up-close, subjects. Since these images are not so much about the representation of an object as it is normally seen, I feel a different kind of challenge to imagine and display the objects as it might have been had I control over the environment.
